Re: Halloween

I was sad to see that an open-air costume parade is considered moderate risk. Could we find ways to make that safer? Split the kids up into small groups, require face masks, etc. Maybe do a parade up and down Circle Woods drive, so there are places where spectators could stand more than six feet fro...

Re: Pool Operations 2020

One more question for the board: What's the cost breakdown for opening the pool in a limited way vs. keeping it shut all summer? My understanding is that we've already sunk a lot of costs because we have a multi-year contract with Atlantic Pool Services, and we already got the pool ready to open. If...

Matt,

Thanks for keeping us updated. Hope there will be some progress now that we have a date for when Fairfax county will enter Phase 2 (Friday, June 12).

Re: NOTICE: POSSIBLE LOSS OF ONE YOUR RESERVED PARKING SPACES

Matt, My thanks to you and the other board members for dealing with the parking issue during this difficult time Yes, we will look for the mailer on the proposed Amendment. Given that the mail has been really slow lately, is it possible to also post the document online for people to print, sign, and...

Trick or Treating and Rain

The weather forecast for Halloween (tomorrow) isn't great. Hopefully we'll get a mostly rain-free period for Trick or Treating, but WTOP just suggested it will be best for Trick or Treaters to go out early, as in 4:30-5:30 pm. I know a lot of us aren't home from work at that point, but try to be awa...
