Trash Bags vs. Turkey Vultures
Hello Neighbors, We've had issues with squirrels (and other rodents) going after trash bags for years. Recently we've had crows poking at bags, and now we have something brand new...turkey vultures. A group of at least three turkey vultures went after trash bags on the south end of Winter Pine Court...

Re: Trick or treating this year
The HOA has not officially taken a position on Trick or Treating this year. However, the CDC and the Fairfax County health department both say it's okay for kids to trick or treat IF: * They are wearing an appropriate cloth or medical face mask (plastic costume masks with mouth and nose holes don't ...

Re: Amended Pool Rules! Please read
Still no pool sign-ups listed after Monday. Did someone make a decision to pause sign-ups until after the board meeting Monday night? If so, that should be communicated clearly to the rest of the HOA board and the pool membership. Let's be clear about whether this is policy or a technical problem so...

Re: Amended Pool Rules! Please read
Thanks, Matt.
Follow-up question:
* Those who want to expand open swim hours, what times would be most useful for you?
* Those who want to keep reserved pool hours, what times do you need available if you're going to keep using reserved slots?

Re: Amended Pool Rules! Please read
Full disclosure: I'm a (new) board member, I have a child under 12, and I supported the current hybrid reservation system. I still think that was the right call, given the pandemic status earlier in the spring when the board had to make those decisions. It's appropriate that we revisit the pool rule...

Re: Community Car Chargers?
Another thought on this: I'm in one of the townhouses that has one reserved parking space across the street. I'm interested in way that people in this situation could get a charger at a space that's not next to their house, like the Winter Pine island. If Chargepoint (or a similar system) allows peo...

Re: Halloween
I was sad to see that an open-air costume parade is considered moderate risk. Could we find ways to make that safer? Split the kids up into small groups, require face masks, etc. Maybe do a parade up and down Circle Woods drive, so there are places where spectators could stand more than six feet fro...
