High Winds: Secure Your Trash

Hi everyone,

Our trash company has issued the following advisory to its customers, regarding high winds that are expected today and tomorrow:

"Attention ALL American Disposal Services Customers:


WEATHER ANNOUNCEMENT:

Please be aware that we are predicted to experience unusually high winds today and tomorrow. Winds this strong can cause containers to tip over or blow away. It will also cause any unsecured items or loose debris to blow throughout neighborhoods.

If your communities' trash or recycling pick-up day falls on those days, please make sure that your waste is safely secured in a plastic bag or lidded collection receptacle. If possible, secure recyclables in a lidded receptacle clearly marked "recycling".
