Trash Bags vs. Turkey Vultures

Post by JimMaiwurm »

Hello Neighbors,

We've had issues with squirrels (and other rodents) going after trash bags for years. Recently we've had crows poking at bags, and now we have something brand new...turkey vultures.

A group of at least three turkey vultures went after trash bags on the south end of Winter Pine Court today, and they have no trouble slashing open a standard kitchen trash bag. It's a big mess.

So please consider putting your food trash in heavier bags, or double-bag with the bags you normally use. Let's not encourage these scavengers to stick around.

One day after receiving the trash & recycling letter in the mail, 3013 Winter Pine (the clown house) decides to thumb their noses at the HOA.
